To use the instrument you hold the agogo by the handle and beat the bells with the beater provided, they also have a guiro sound depending on whether you beat it or scrape it. The two blocks are different sizes the sounds produced by each one are louder or quieter tones. The Double Agogo Tone Block are a great addition to a school or home percussion set.
