Yamaha G-50A Vintage Nippon Gakki Classical Acoustic Guitar - Natural Finish

The Yamaha G-50A was manufactured between 1969-1972 as an economy model for aspiring guitarists with quality standards for their instrument. This particular unit was manufactured in Japan (Nippon Gakki Co) in 1971. For the age of this vintage guitar, it is in excellent cosmetic condition with only a few scratches (depicted in the images). It sounds excellent, and the nylon strings play beautifully.

The back and sides are made of Katsura, one of the largest hardwood trees growing throughout Japan (described as Judaswood in  the Yamaha 1971 catalog). Neck is made of nato. Fingerboard and bridge are made of bubinga. Scale length (nut to bridge) 658mm.
